Your course ratings and replying to reviews

The Reviews page shows the ratings students gave your courses and classes on the NSDP website: the average, how students rated, the details and the trend. You can reply once to each review and report one that breaks the rules, but never edit or delete a student's review.

Students rate a course once they finish it (or from halfway through a self-paced course), and a class once its batch is over. NSDP checks each review, publishes it on the NSDP website, and the figures come back to your Reviews page.

Reading the figures

On the pageWhat it shows
Average ratingYour overall average out of 5 and the number of ratings, across your courses and classes.
BadgeTop rated or Highly rated instructor, when the NSDP website awards one.
How students ratedHow many ratings gave 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 stars.
Verified completionsThe share of ratings from students who completed the course; the rest were given from halfway through.
Would recommendThe share of students who said yes to recommending it (of those who answered).
In detailAverage stars for Content quality, Instructor & teaching, Value and, for on-campus classes, Facilities.
Last 90 daysThe average and number of new ratings, with the change against the 90 days before, and bars for the last six months.
Your courses and classesEach course or class with its own average and count. Pick one to see its reviews.

The rating chip on your Courses list (for example ★ 4.4 (12)) shows the same figures per course. A course without ratings shows no chip.

The reviews themselves

  • Latest reviews lists published reviews. Use Show to narrow it to one course or class.
  • Each review shows the stars, the date, the title and text (or Stars only, no written review.), the student's name, and Completed the course or Rated while studying.
  • Detail stars and Recommends / Doesn't recommend show when the student gave them.

What you can't do

  • Edit or delete a student's review. Only the student can change it (once), and only NSDP removes reviews.
  • Reply to or report reviews of courses and classes that aren't yours.
  • Reply or report while someone from NSDP is viewing your account: You are viewing this teacher's account. Only the teacher can answer reviews.

When the figures change

The page reads the NSDP website's figures through a short cache, so a newly published review or a reply decision shows within about five minutes. Your own reply or report shows straight away. If the website can't be reached the page says Ratings are unavailable right now. with a retry.

FAQ

There is no Reviews row in my menu.

Ratings are open for the NSDP school only for now.

Why do I have no reviews?

Students can rate a course once they finish it or from halfway through, and a class once its batch is over. Reviews show only after NSDP publishes them.

A review is unfair. Can I remove it?

No. Reply calmly with your side, and report it if it breaks the rules. NSDP decides.

Who replies to reviews of an on-campus class?

Both you and the campus see them and either may reply, but a review takes only one reply: whoever replies first answers it. Agree with the campus who answers.
