Buying and downloading digital products

Schools can sell or give away files such as ebooks, notes, templates and videos. See how to find them, buy them, open your file afterwards, and what to do if the download doesn't work.

A digital download is a file the school sells or gives away on its own, outside a course: for example an ebook, notes, a template, a ZIP pack or a video. (Files attached to lessons are different; they are in the lesson's Resource Library.)

The download's page

  • The top shows the file Type, its Size and Access: Free or Premium.
  • The side box shows the price and one button: Access download if you can open it, or Enroll now if you need to buy it first.
  • Add to cart puts it in your learning cart to pay together with other items.
  • Further down: an overview, what is included and who it is for.

Buying a download

  1. Step 1: Choose Enroll now

    On the download's page.

  2. Step 2: Sign in if asked

You need a student account to buy.

  3. Step 3: Choose a price and apply a coupon

Only if the download has several prices or you have a coupon.

  4. Step 4: Pay

With any method your school offers. A bank transfer gives access once the school approves it.

  5. Step 5: Open your file

Once access is given, the download's page shows Access download when you're signed in.

Opening your file

  • Access download opens the file in a new tab. Save it from there (for example with your browser's download or save option).
  • Images and videos may play or display in the browser instead of downloading; use the browser's save option to keep a copy.
  • You can come back and open it again as long as your access is active.

Finding your downloads later

Downloads don't have their own section in the student dashboard. Bookmark the download's page or find it again on the school's Downloads page, sign in, and choose Access download. The access email also contains a sign-in link.

The file won't open on my phone.

Refunds aren't handled in the portal. Contact the school.
