Teachers work for NSDP, and some of them also teach at a campus. The connection between a teacher and a campus is called a campus link. Only NSDP creates or removes it; neither the campus nor the teacher can.
How a link is made
- CampusCampus
Campus puts teacher forward
The campus sends the candidate's details from its portal.
- NSDPNSDP
NSDP reviews
NSDP checks the details and usually interviews the candidate.
- NSDP
Good outcome: NSDP approves
A teacher account is created and linked to that campus.
- NSDP can also link an existing teacher to a campus directly, without a request.
- Teachers who applied through the NSDP website are not linked to any campus until NSDP links them.
- A teacher can be linked to more than one campus.
What the link means
| For the teacher | For the campus | |
|---|---|---|
| In-person batches | When creating a live session, you can schedule in-person batches at your active campuses, and only those. | Sees the in-person batches held at the campus, whoever teaches them, and takes their attendance. |
| Recorded courses and online live sessions | Yours alone. There is no campus to choose when you create one, and the link gives the campus no part in them. | Nothing. The campus does not see the teacher's recorded courses, their comments or their students, and can't create or manage them. |
| Reports | Your classes at the campus appear in the campus's reports. | Sees classes delivered and attendance for each linked teacher. |
Who sees what
| Information | The campus sees it? |
|---|---|
| Teacher's name, email, phone, headline and photo | Yes, for every linked teacher. |
| Batches the teacher instructs at that campus | Yes, including finished ones. |
| CNIC, qualification, subjects and other request details | Only for teachers that campus put forward itself (it sent those details). |
| Details of a teacher NSDP assigned from elsewhere | No. Their application details stay with NSDP. |
| The teacher's earnings and withdrawals | No. |
| The teacher's classes at other campuses | No. |
Active and inactive teachers
If NSDP switches a teacher's account off, the teacher can't sign in and shows as Inactive on the campus's Teachers page. The link itself stays until NSDP removes it.
Ending a link
- Only NSDP can remove a teacher from a campus. A campus that wants a teacher removed should contact NSDP or open a dispute under Teacher.
- A teacher who no longer wants to teach at a campus should contact NSDP.
- Once the link is removed, the teacher no longer appears on the campus's Teachers page and can't schedule new in-person batches there.
FAQ
I'm a teacher and the campus list in the editor is empty.
You are not linked to an active campus yet, or the campus is suspended. Ask the campus or NSDP.
Can a campus remove a teacher?
No. Only NSDP can remove a link. A campus that wants a teacher removed should contact NSDP or open a dispute under Teacher.
Can a teacher teach at two campuses?
Yes. NSDP can link a teacher to several campuses; each campus sees only its own batches with that teacher.
What happens to the link if a campus is suspended?
The link stays, but the suspended campus is not offered when scheduling new in-person batches, and the campus can't change anything until reactivated.
