The campus dashboard

What the campus portal's Dashboard shows: the hero, what needs your attention, the four figures, today's classes and the week ahead, your batches, teachers, recent activity and quick links, and how each number is counted.

Dashboard is the first page you see after signing in to the campus portal. It shows where your campus stands today: what is waiting on you, how registrations, attendance, seats and earnings are going, the classes on today and this week, your batches and your teachers. Everything on it is read from your campus's live records; nothing is edited on this page itself.

The hero

  • Today's date, your campus logo (or initials), name, status and, when opening hours are set, whether the campus is open now. If your profile has a cover banner it shows faintly behind the right side.
  • Your location, campus type and code, and the short summary from your profile. If there is no summary yet, a link takes you to add one.
  • Batches & attendance opens the Batches page and Put a teacher forward opens the teacher request form. More opens Campus profile, Teachers, Reports, Payouts and the Help centre.
  • When the campus is suspended the status reads Suspended · read-only and Put a teacher forward is not offered.

Needs your attention

A short list of what is waiting on your campus, most urgent first. Each item opens the page where you deal with it and disappears once it is done. When nothing is waiting the strip reads You're all caught up.

The four figures

Each figure links to the page behind it; the information icon next to each explains how it is counted. The first two cover the last 30 days and carry a small line showing how the number moved over that time.

FigureWhat it countsOpens
Registrations · 30 daysStudents who took a seat in one of your batches in the last 30 days, with how many were new to your campus. The line shows registrations day by day.Reports → Enrolment
Attendance · 30 daysStudents marked present against the students booked into the classes held in the last 30 days, with the number of classes held and students at risk (below 75%).Reports → Attendance
Seats filledStudents holding a seat in your upcoming and running batches, against the total of their seat limits, with a bar and the seats left. Batches with no limit show ∞.Batches
Earnings availableYour share of paid registrations that has passed the reserve period and is not yet in a payout request. The line underneath shows the next release, an open request, or the minimum payout.Payouts

Getting started (new campuses)

Until your campus has at least one approved teacher and one launched batch, a Getting started checklist appears under the figures: complete your profile, put a teacher forward, verify the campus bank account (when campus earnings are on), and wait for NSDP to launch your first batch. Each step ticks itself off from your records; the checklist disappears once you have both a teacher and a batch.

Today at your campus and Coming up

  • Headed with today's weekday and date in your campus's time zone, and how many classes are on.
  • Each class shows its start and end time, topic, programme and batch, venue, teacher and number of students. A green dot and Now mark a class in progress.
  • The register state is on the right: Register opens after sign-ups close while the batch still takes registrations, Not marked with Mark attendance once the class has started, or how many students are already marked with Open register. The buttons open the class's register on the Batches page.
  • Coming up lists the next seven days: classes, batches starting within a month, and registrations closing within two weeks.
  • A weekly timetable is laid out week by week from the batch's start date, the same way the Reports page counts classes, so week 4's Monday class shows on the fourth Monday only.

Your batches

Cards for your launched batches (the first four; All batches opens the rest). Each shows the programme and batch, venue, registration state (Open, Full, Closed or Not launched), seats taken against the limit with a bar, the next class or start date, and the teacher. A card opens the batch on the Batches page.

The Teachers panel

  • How many teachers are approved to teach at your campus, with Put forward to propose another (hidden while suspended).
  • Your requests with NSDP and any that need your answer, each linking to Teachers → Requests.
  • Up to five approved teachers with their photo, headline and how many of your batches they teach; Teaching now shows who has a class in progress.
  • Also teaching your batches names instructors NSDP set on your batches who are not on your campus roster.

Recent activity

The latest changes to your campus's records: teacher requests and profile changes, courses and reviews, batch launches and closings, certificates issued, payouts and disputes. Each links to the matching campus page. NSDP staff are shown as NSDP; your campus, your teachers and your teacher candidates are shown by name.

Shortcuts to Put a teacher forward, New on-site course, Request payout and Open a dispute (hidden while suspended), plus Reports and the Help centre.

Campus details

What NSDP has on record: location and address, institution type, seats per batch and the contact person with phone and email. Campus profile opens the full profile, where you can propose changes.

While your campus is suspended

The dashboard shows Changes are paused while your campus is suspended. All figures and panels stay readable; recording attendance, putting forward teachers, replying and editing the profile are paused until NSDP reactivates the campus, so write buttons and quick links are hidden.

FAQ

Seats filled is higher than the seat limit. Is that a mistake?

Very occasionally a student who had already paid when the last seat went is still given a place, so a batch can show a little over its limit.

A student dropped out. Does registration reopen?

The seat count goes down, but a batch that closed because it was full stays closed. Only NSDP can reopen registration.

The figures look out of date.

Use the refresh button in the hero. The time of the last update is shown next to it.

Today's classes show at the wrong time.

Check the time zone under Campus profile → Hours & operations. If a class time itself is wrong, contact NSDP.

I dealt with an item but it is still under Needs your attention.

The page reads your records when it opens. Use the refresh button; the item goes once the record has changed (for a register, once at least one student is marked).
